Elaine M. Heimbach, 62, of Wilson Borough, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 27, 2013 in her home.
Born: December 26, 1950 in Berwick, PA, she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Dawn (Morris) Robbins.
Personal: Elaine was an LPN at Easton Hospital for over 35 years.
Memberships: She was a member of the former Memorial United Church of Christ, Easton and a member of the Martins Creek Lioness Club.
Survivors: A daughter, Kimberly Heimbach and her fiancé, John Tasevoli and a brother, Lewis Robbins and his wife, Cathy.
Services: Services will be private. Interment will be in Flicksville Cemetery. Arrangements by the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton.

Robert A. Spadoni, 59, of Wilson Borough, passed away suddenly Friday, April 24, 2009 at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center, Dearborn, Michigan, after being stricken while attending a banjo convention. Born: August 2, 1949 in Easton, he was a son of Nina LaBarba Spadoni, of Easton and the late Anthony Spadoni. Personal: He and his wife, the former Sharon Bundro, celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary on February 17, 2009. He graduated from Easton Area High School, class of 1967, and attended Northampton Community College. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Bob retired as an inventory control clerk / teller from the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission where he was employed for 31 years. He was a D.J. with Festa Productions, Easton, enjoyed playing his banjo and loved music. Memberships: He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Bob was also a member of the River City Banjos LTD., Easton and was a former member of the Holy Cross Society. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Sharon and mother, Nina; two daughters, Andrea and Lori Spadoni, both of Wilson Borough. Services: will be held at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday from the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 9th and Lehigh Sts., Easton. Call 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Easton Cemetery. Memorials: May be made to the American Heart Association, 212 East Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 or the church, 900 Washington St., Easton, PA 18042.

On Wednesday, March 27, 2019, Robin H. Rogers of Mount Bethel, loving son, brother, and uncle, passed away unexpectedly from lung cancer at age 68.
Robin was born on Jan. 7, 1951, at Betts Hospital in Easton, PA, to Harold E. and Jeanne Rogers. He attended Easton Area High School and graduated in the class of 1968. He worked as a plastics extrusion operator at Bemis in Flemington, NJ (where he kept the plant safe and accident free for over 2 years), and later Fresco Systems International until his retirement.
"Robbie" loved hunting and fishing, and earned the honor of Eagle Scout in Troop 8. He was also a unique asset to the Forks Township Sparks Midget Baseball team as their left-handed pitcher. He loved to cook, and would share his recipes with anyone who would listen. "Robbie" was a perpetual prankster, and loved to tell stories, "raise hell," and spend time with family and friends.
Robin is lovingly remembered by his father, Harold E. of Easton, younger brother, Jay M. (Kimberly) of Clarks Summit, uncle Donald, aunt Helen, nieces, Alison and Tiffany, cousin, Jim Otto, stepsons, Michael, Timothy, Hugh, and Christian, and many other cousins, relatives, friends, and two dogs, Murphy and Bailey. Robin was predeceased by his beloved partner, Kathy Fehrenbacher, mother Jeanne Rogers (nee Dennis), uncle Mort Rogers, and aunts, Virginia and Mildred Rogers.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Luke's Monroe Campus for their care of Robin and family during his final hours.

Ronald R. HASCHAK Sr., 49, of Blakeslee, formerly of Easton, died Monday, March 1, 2012 in Easton Hospital after being stricken at work. He and his wife, the former Melva Newburgh, celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary on Oct. 31, 2003. He was born on Oct. 29, 1954, in Easton, son of Evelyn Winger Haschak, Easton, and the late Steve Haschak. Ronald was employed as a custodian for the Easton Area School District for 15 years, and was currently working at Shawnee Middle School. He had attended Easton Area High School and served with the US Army. Ron was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, enjoyed the outdoors and hunting, and was a chronic comedian. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Ronald R. Jr. of Easton and Nathan A. of Nazareth; a step-son, Charlie R. Sandt Jr. of Allentown; a sister, Doreen Schmidt of Easton; and two grandchildren, Aileen N. and Kyle A. Haschak. He was predeceased by a brother, Steven, in 1976. Funeral services will be held at — p.m. Saturday, March 7, in the Strunk Funeral Home Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Easton. The interment will be private. Call will be from 11:30 a.m. Saturday, until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 212 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. 63, formerly of Easton, died Monday, April 16, 2012. Born: in Uniontown, he was the son of the late George Earl Ross, Sr., and Pauline Seay Ross. Personal: George honorably served his country in the Army during Vietnam as a Paratrooper. Survivors: son, Bryson Ross of Whitehall; daughter, Renee Mathis of Easton; four grandchildren; siblings, Tina, Shawna, Gregory, Jason, Justin and Leonard. He was predeceased by a sister Janice. Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment with full military honors will be at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

Mario F. Russo, 71, of Glendon Borough, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021, at his home.
Born February 3, 1950, in Caraffa di Catanzaro, Italy, he was a son of the late Arturo and Catherina (Mannarino) Russo.
He graduated from Easton Area High School Class of 1968 and attended Kutztown University.

Mario owned and operated the Old Stone Inn, Glendon. Years ago, he worked for the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation.

He loved spending time with his dog.

Surviving is a brother, Russell Russo, of Bethlehem; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Frank Russo.

Private arrangements are under the direction of the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough.

A 1972 graduate of Easton High School, she worked in the Easton Middle School cafeteria for 14 years. She and her husband Roy E. Olsen had been married for 33 years. Scott HENDERSON ,67, of St. Augustine Florida, passed away on February 14, 2021 from a long battle of cancer. Scott was born Easton, Pennsylvania on January 9,1954. He graduated from Easton High school. Scott was married to Cheryl Henderson. Scott was a license optician and co-owner of Eye Style Optical with his sister Jade Jackson for nearly 40 years. Scott was survived by his wife Cheryl Henderson, brother Jeff (Diane) Henderson, sister Jade ( Wayne) Henderson, daughter Ashley (Eric) Henderson, Brian (Amanda) Henderson, Patrick (Kathryn) Henderson,stepdaughters Jessica (Brandon) Butchko, Shannon (Aaron) Truett. His 6 grandchildren Kaiden Andrach, Owen Butchko, Colten Andrach, Parker Butchko, Kinsley Henderson and Ryleigh Henderson. Also, Scott's several nieces and nephews, along with other family and friends. Scott is preceded in death by his father Wayne Henderson, mother Joan (Dixon) Henderson, his brother Craig Henderson and his baby girl. There will be no service due to Scott's wishes. Richard Jay Seidel passed away on Nov 12th, 2015 at his home in Washington, DC at the age of 65. He was the son of the late Irvin and Reba Seidel of Easton, PA and is survived by his sister, Gail Levine formerly of Allentown, and now of Florida. His wife, Caren Kaplan, preceded him in death just 6 months prior to his own. They both bravely fought their battles with cancer. Richard graduated from Easton Area High School, attended Lafayette College, graduated from University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne Law School. Following a brief law career, he became assistant circuit executive for the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia and advanced to the position of System Designer at the Federal Judiciary. From early on his childhood, Richard was a talented musician and he played in multiple bands and genres even up until the last few weeks of his life. Recently, Richard and Caren founded an after-school music program for at-risk youth in the DC area. A devoted cyclist, he traveled the country taking on the most difficult challenges. Richard will be greatly missed by his family, including his niece, Beth Levine Ain and his nephew, Michael Levine, and their children, as well as his many truly devoted friends.

Boyer Timothy Serfass, 63, of Easton, PA, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018, in Easton Hospital. Born in Betts Hospital, Easton, Sept. 13, 1954, he was the son of Dr. L. Shimer Serfass, an Easton optometrist, and Pauline (Frankenfield) Serfass. Tim was a graduate of Easton Area High School class of 1972 and served in the US Army from 1973 to 1976 as a chauffeur of the High Command in Heidelberg, Germany. After earning an associate's degree from Churchman Business School, he worked as a computer operator at Cigna. He took an early retirement in 2009 when he won the Pennsylvania Lottery and enjoyed his later years buying the cars he wanted to drive and sending presents to family and friends who would enjoy a surprise. His hobbies were bicycling, photography and listening to his vast vinyl record collection. He is survived by a sister, Caroline (Carrie) Serfass and her husband, Paulsen K. (Paul) Vandevert, of Dearborn, MI; half-sister, Jo-Ann S. Davis of Bangor, PA; a nephew, John Vandevert of Princeton, NJ; and his mother's sisters, whom he adored.
