About Edward C. Scrafano, 75, of Stockertown, PA, passed away peacefully at home on August 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Ed graduated from Easton Area High School in 1968. Ed worked at Hoffman La Roche in Belvedere, New Jersey for more than 25 years. Upon retiring from Hoffman La Roche, he worked at East Stroudsburg University before fully retiring. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, fishing, spending time with family, and sharing stories with friends both old and new. Ed always had a kind word for everyone. His sense of humor and generosity always made people feel welcomed, and he made friends wherever he was. I

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sharon (Mutter), daughters Kimberly Scrafano and her wife Tracy Williamson, of Alameda, California and Cheryl Getz and her husband Terry of Nazareth, brother Gary Scrafano and his wife Glynnis of Ontario, Canada, sister Donna Scrafano of Bethlehem, stepson Edward Pilz of Ackermanville, stepdaughter April Pilz of Breinigsville, grandsons Lucas, Jayden and Dylan, nieces and nephews, and canine companions Olivia and Mindy. He was welcomed into heaven by his parents Edward and Betty (Kreis) Scrafano, brother Ronald, and canine companions Sandy, Harley, Fritz, Farrah and Ryder.

Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, (Palmer Twp.), PA. Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 p.m in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, in Palmer Twp. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the dog rescue that provided him with his beloved dogs Ryder and Mindy. Donations can be made at mostlymuttz.org.
