James Miller, 60, passed away peacefully at home on August 1, 2015. Jim was married for 37 wonderful years to his wife Suzanne (Navone). Jim was born* in Tokyo to Setsuko (Takeda) and the late John A. Miller, Jr. He grew up in Easton, and he was a graduate of Easton High School and Bloomsburg University. He lived in Salisbury Township for the last 28 years. He was an employee of Saucon Valley Country Club for the last 27 years, working in many capacities including Manager of the Weyhill Guest House. In addition to spending time with his family, Jim enjoyed riding his motorcycles, playing his guitars, tracing his family roots, remodeling his home, and cruising. Survivors: Son Garrett, daughter Natalie, wife of Michael Hoch MD, and beloved grandson Alexander James Hoch. Also, mother Setsuko, sister Dorothy, wife of Charles Durbin, nephew Joshua Durbin and niece Sarah Durbin. A memorial service / celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 10 at 6 pm at Saucon Valley Acres on Black River Road, Bethlehem. Kim D. Miller, 58, formerly of Easton, died Oct. 25, 2008, in Easton Hospital. Born in Pen Argyl, he was a son of the late Walter H. and Lola (Morris) Miller. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 24 years until 1998. He also ran the concession stand at Lafayette College athletic events. He graduated from Easton Area High School in 1968 and played on the undefeated football team his senior year. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Survivors: Wife, Marlene (Burns) Miller; daughters, Kimberly and Karissa Miller, both of Easton; stepsons, Christopher Grube of Palmer Township, Ryan Grube of Wilson; brothers, Ted and Barry Miller, both in Florida; two stepgrandchildren. Lucinda A. MORELLO, 30, of 270 E. Wilkes-Barre St., Easton, died Wednesday, Jan 23 1985, in Easton Hospital. She was director of the Nativity Lutheran Child Development Center, Allentown, a state model-school program she had operated since 1982. Before that, she worked for the First Presbyterian Nursery School and the ACJC Day Care, both of Easton. A 1972 graduate of Easton High School, she graduated with honors from Russell Sage College, Troy, N.Y., in 1976. Born in Easton, she was a daughter of Alfonso and Marion (Van Allen) Morello of Easton. Surviving with her parents are three sisters, Cathy J. Kittshoffer, Diane W. and Joan E., a brother, John A., maternal grandmother, Mrs. Marion Van Allen, and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lucy Morello, all of Easton, and her fiancee, Lawrence Iudicello, with whom she resided. Services at 10 a.m. Monday in the Rupell Funeral Home, 465 Memorial Parkway, Phillipsburg, will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Easton. Rita A. Richline, 70, of Bath, PA passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 in St. Luke’s Hospital Anderson Campus.
She was born in Easton, PA a daughter of Mamie (Keller) Parr and the late Frederick Mosteller.
Rita was a graduate of Easton High School, the class of 1968. She was married to the love of her life Michael A. Richline Sr. until his passing in 2018. Rita was a seamstress in the local garment industry and later worked as a machine operator at Crayola where she retired from.
Rita was a member of the American Legion Rice Ebner Post lady’s auxiliary where she was a lifetime member. She loved her family and friends tremendously.
Rita is survived by her son Michael A. Richline Jr. and his wife Charmayne, of Moore Twp., daughters Shelly Taylor and her husband Mark, of Pen Argyl, Patti Margl and her husband Laszlo, of Spring Hill, FL, and Jackie Traband, of Bethlehem, sisters Barbara Morris, Elizabeth Thompson, Freda Kressler, Clara Reuther, brothers Richard Keller Sr and Walter Mosteller, brother-in-law Joseph Rickline Sr, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a close friend Millie Horan and a friend Thomas Roberts. In addition to her father and husband, Rita is preceded in death by a sister Joan Marie and brother Frederick Mosteller.

Louise C. (Nowiak) Baer, 65, of Easton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown. Born Oct. 26, 1954, in Wilson Borough, PA, Louise was the daughter of the late Edward and Carolyn (Stem) Nowiak. She and her husband of 22 years, Frederick P. Baer, were married on Sept. 27, 1997 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Easton. Louise worked for many years as a pharmacy tech for Eckerd Drugs, Phillipsburg, NJ, and also worked as an agent for the Reagle Insurance Agency, Easton. Louise was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wilson, and a graduate of Easton High School in 1972. She was past president of the Musical Arts Chorus, Easton, and loved singing, reading, ceramics, music, attending concerts and especially her pets. In addition to her husband, Fred, Louise is survived by her three children, Emily A. (Baer) Kitt, Quakertown, PA; Sarah E. Baer, wife of Jacob T. Ruttle, Bethlehem, PA, and Andrew F. Baer of Easton. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Wylie, Jack and Beatrice; her cousin, David Meade, husband of Riva Meade, North Carolina, and extended family members, Scott, Tammy, Richard Jr., Wes and Kathy. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her cousin, Richard. Funeral services for Louise will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2115 Washington Blvd., Easton. Craig (Ozzie) D. Osborne, 69, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020.
He was born in Easton, PA, to the late Daniel and Mildred (Ruschman) Osborne. Craig was married to Beverley Harrison of Phillipsburg, NJ, for 47 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Amy Contakes (Matthew Contakes), Rebekah Brown (Andrew Brown), Leah Chichester (Daniel Chichester), and Philip Osborne (Patience Osborne); stepson Jim Warner; grandchildren (Isaiah, June, Justus, Jude, Zach, Christian, Grace, Lucy, Hutchinson, Fineas, Daschel, Meredith, Seth, DJ); brothers, Daniel Osborne and family, David Osborne and family, and his cockapoo Sophie, a loyal companion.
He was preceded in death by Mark Osborne, his brother.
Craig graduated from Easton Area High School in 1968. He served as a combat medic during the Vietnam War, and was wounded during the conflict. He served with the 5th Mechanized Division in Quang Tri, Vietnam.
Craig attended college in Monterey, CA, and Northampton Community College in Pennsylvania. He worked at numerous jobs over the years, including the construction industry, IT, and a 20-year career with the United States Postal Service. He was well known on his route in downtown Easton.
He served throughout his life in everything from coaching Little League Baseball, leading church youth groups, counseling veterans, to organizing a regional prayer network.
Craig was an avid reader and lifetime learner; he enjoyed meeting new people and building relationships across ethnic and socioeconomic groups. He volunteered at the Northampton County Prison, Betel UK, New Covenant Christian Community Church and a host of other local organizations.
Craig enjoyed long rides along the river with his wife, Beverley, walking, and spending time at the lake house with his family and friends. He was loved and admired in the community and impacted many lives. He will be remembered for his laughter, passion for Jesus, his crooked finger, long phone calls, endless stories, and love for people.
At the request of family, services will be private. We would also like to thank the palliative care group and the hospice care team for all of their care and to the many friends for all their visits and prayers.

John Carl Ottersen, 45, died on Wednesday, Feb 10, 1999 in Easton Hospital. He worked in production at Kraft Foods in Allentown, and prior to that at Olin Co. in Nazareth for 22 years. Born on March 7, 1954 in Royal Oak, Michigan, he was a son of the Jeanne Warren Ottersen Gilbert of Forks Township and the late Robert Ottersen. He was a member of Nazareth Moravian Church. An Avid golfer, he was a member of the Nazareth Golf League and the Nazareth Myrtle Beach Group. He was a 1972 graduate of Easton Area High School. He and his wife, the former Kathryn Roltde, were married 22 years. In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by a son, Joshua J., and a daughter Katie Jo, both at home, a brother Robert O., his stepfather Harold Gilbert and nieces and nephews. A daughter Valerie died in 1984. Services will be held at 11 am in Nazareth Moravian Church. Call 7 to 9 pm in the Reichel Funeral Home, both in Nazareth. Jack A. Paini, 55, of Wilson Borough, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 in Easton Hospital. Born: On October 15, 1950 in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was a son of Mary Rothenhausler Paini of Easton, and the late Frank Paini. Personal: He was the husband of the former Mary Zsido. Jack graduated from Easton High School in 1968 and attended Northampton Community College. He served with the Army during the Vietnam War.
He was employed by the city of Easton, parks and recreation. He served with the Army. Survivors: Mother, Mary, wife, Mary (Zsido) Paini, children, Nolan and Rebecca, and sister, Valerie Black, all of Easton. A brother, Frank R., died earlier. Services: private. Strunk Funeral Home Inc., Easton.

Charles D. ‘Charlie’ Presto, of Easton, formerly of Phillipsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Easton Hospital. Born*: in Wilson Borough, he was a son of Elizabeth J. Storm Geant and her husband, James of Easton, and the late Carmelo C. Presto. Personal: Charlie P, as he was well known, worked as a disc jockey at many clubs in the local area. He later worked for the Boys & Girls Club of Easton. Charlie P loved the Phillies and Eagles, playing pool, and his Kitty Cats. He was of the catholic faith and a former member of Ss. Philip & James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg. Memberships: He was a member of the Citizens Hose, the Fleas and the Franklin social clubs. Survivors: in addition to his loving mother, Elizabeth and stepfather, James, he is survived by his companion of many years, Connie R. Albanese Gaughrin with whom he resided; stepdaughter, Dena R. Vincent M. Pretopapa Sr., 69, of Easton, PA passed away Saturday Morning February 15, 2020 surrounded by his family in St. Luke’s Hospice House.
Born in Easton, PA, Vince was the son of the late James and Sylvia (Grillo) Pretopapa. He was married to the love of his life Barbara A. (Frankenfield) Pretopapa for 45 years. He was a graduate of Easton Area High School, the class of 1968. After high school, Vince enlisted in the United States Navy and served as an ETN-2 (Nuclear Electronics Technician) Petty Officer Second Class, and was honorably discharged in 1978 after serving for six years. He continued to work for Victaulic and later BASF, and retired in 2015
Vince enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren, growing Bonsai trees, collecting baseball cards and watching sports - especially football, baseball, and Nascar.
In addition to his parents Vince is preceded in death by his sister Sylvia Donato (husband James). Along with his wife he is survived by two children: son Vincent M. Pretopapa, Jr. and his wife Michelle, of Easton; daughter Michele Pretopapa of Easton; grandchildren Julianna and Vincent Pretopapa, III; brothers Frank, Carmen, and Rock (wife Ann); and many, many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
A gathering will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). John C. Pritchard, 67, of Pen Argyl, formerly of Easton, passed away, Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at his residence. Born in Easton, Aug. 7, 1950, he was the son of the late Gerald and Winifred (Haas) Brown. He was a 1968 graduate of Easton High School and attended East Stroudsburg University. Prior to retiring, he was employed as a draftsman for the former Brooks Company, Nazareth. John was past president of the Easton Jaycees, he volunteered for Forks Township EMS, and was a former member of First Moravian Church of Easton. He is survived by three sons, Marc C. Pritchard and his wife, Nicole, of Plainfield Township, Jason C. Pritchard of Easton and Michael S. Pritchard and his wife, Danielle, of Nazareth; five grandchildren, Brielle, Gavin, Emeric, Sophia and Aria, and three brothers, Ken Pritchard of Maine, Jim Pritchard of Easton, and Jeff Brown of Allentown. William H. PRUGH, 44, of Bethlehem died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 1998 in his home. He was the husband of Antoinette (White) Bradley Prugh. He was a heating, ventilation and air conditioning technician for the Southern Lehigh School District. Previously, he was an HVAC technician for Lande Heating & Air Conditioning, Bethlehem. Born in Easton, he was a son of Shirley (Hedden) Prugh of Bethlehem and the late William H. Prugh Sr. He was a member of Calvary Methodist Church, Bethlehem, and attended Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church. He did the lighting for various events at the State Theatre, Easton, and Stabler Arena, Bethlehem. He attended chemical engineering school in the Lehigh Valley. Survivors: Wife and mother; son, Robert J., and a daughter, Jennifer M., both at home, and a brother, Gary D. of Swarthmore, Delaware County. Jerry B. Pysher, 66, of LaPorte, IN, died June 18, 2017, in Kindred Hospital, Mishawaka, IN. He was the son of the late Budd A. Pysher and Ethel (Biechy) Pysher. Jerry graduated from Easton Area High School, Northampton Community College and Moravian College. After graduation Jerry served honorably in the U.S. Army. Jerry worked at Bethlehem Steel Corp, Bethlehem Plant then transferred to Burns Harbor Plant. He was currently employed at Purdue University Northwest, Facilities Service Department as Hammond Campus Maintenance Supervisor. He loved his job and the people he worked with. Comments in the Indiana guest book reflect the respect and caring from his co-workers. He is remembered as hardworking, seeking not problems but solutions; with a smile on his face and a funny comment for everyone. While living in Hecktown he served as Township Supervisor. Jerry also served in various leadership positions for the Upper Nazareth Lions and the Rolling Prairie, Indiana Lions Club. He loved his community and was dedicated to making it a better place. He was a car-guy who loved racing. Jerry raced street stock cars at the former Nazareth Racetrack. Jerry is survived by his mother, his wife of 43 years, Kathleen (Fody), a son, David and his wife, Shari, of Michigan City, IN, a sister, Arlene Muschlitz and husband, Ronald, of Williams Township, a nephew, Chris Kerchner and his wife, Cheryl, of Bushkill Township and Kelly Fody and David Fody, who resided with him. Dianna "Dee Dee" Theresa Raso, beloved daughter of Mrs. Paula (Hurtt) Raso and the late Dr. Dominick Raso, succumbed to a long illness*. She was born on July 2, 1954 in Peekskill, NY. She is a graduate of Easton Area High School and the University of Mississippi. Dianna ran her father's thriving medical practice as lead administrative assistant for 35 years. She was often referred to as "Dr. Dianna. If there was a need in the family, she was there to help, selflessly. Not enough can be said about Dianna's generous nature. She is survived by her sisters, Dr. Dominique Raso Bailey Andersen, Mrs. Gabriella Todd, brothers Dr. Jon Raso, Dominic Raso, and Anthony Raso, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She is predeceased by sister Dr. Paula Raso Cooper, sisters Anne, and Angela, and brothers Andre Raso and Joseph. Born: On April 29, 1950 in Easton, she was a daughter of Paul and Mary Cascioli Rebmann of Easton. Personal: Barbara was employed as a project analyst for Guardian of Bethlehem. She was a graduate of Easton High School class of 1968. She also graduated from Northampton Community College with an associate's degree.

David A. Reifsnyder, 68, of Easton, PA, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at home.
Born Feb. 2, 1950, in Easton, he was a son of the late Jean (Ackerman) and John G. Reifsnyder. He was a 1968 graduate of Easton High School, where he was a varsity athlete in football and track. He received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Lafayette College in 1972, and was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.
He had a long and distinguished career as a microbiologist, and was the owner and president of Microbiological Environments. He was an avid fly fisherman who authored a book on that subject, which included colorful vignettes of his family and friends.
David cherished his family and his many friends. He had a tremendous zest for life that was contagious. He enjoyed gardening, music, and dancing. He will truly be missed and remembered fondly by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Laura (Hendry) Reifsnyder; two daughters, Lauren Joujan (husband, Alex) and Jessica Serry (husband, Tamer) all of Easton; a brother, John T. Reifsnyder of Gilmanton, N.H.; a sister, Judith Reifsnyder of Rochester, N.Y., and three grandchildren, Chloe, Dawson, and Teagan. He was predeceased by a sister Suzanne Stitt.
A memorial service to celebrate his wonderful life will be held Friday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m., at the family residence. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton, is handling arrangements.

1943, died April 22, 2007 in Grants Pass, OR. He was 81 years old. An American Studies and English teacher at Pleasant Hill and Ygnacio Valley High Schools (CA) from 1965 to 1991. A veteran of WWII, serving aboard the USS Ramsden in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Angelyn (Kirk), daughters Beverly of Concord CA, Patt and Carole of Rogue River OR, two nephews, six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Mary E Rittenhouse, 57, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2011. Mary was born on March 29, 1954 and was a resident of Easton, Pennsylvania. She was a member of Nationwide Insurance family, where she came into the office regularly with special occasion cards, holiday gifts and always in the mood for conversation.
