About Ronald Lehr Obituary
Ronald M. Lehr, 67, of Lower Nazareth Township, formerly of Riegelsville, PA, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at his home. Born September 27, 1957, in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was a son of the late Robert and Blanche (DeLong) Lehr. He and his wife, Susan (Weller) Lehr, celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary on August 1, 2024. Ron graduated from Easton Area High School, Class of 1975. He retired as a salesman from R.E. Michel Co., Bethlehem. Previously, he worked for Dale Wood Co., Riegelsville, for over 20 years and for various other heating and cooling companies. Ron loved sports. He umpired slow pitch men's and women's softball and coached baseball and basketball. Ron was an avid NY Mets, NY Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed walking, playing golf and softball, and going to casinos. He was a volunteer firefighter for Riegelsville Fire Company, where he had served as chief. Surviving in addition to his wife, Susan, is a son, Jeremy T. Lehr, of Forks Township; a daughter, Jennifer L. Lehr, of Bethlehem; a brother, Richard Lehr and his wife Janis and a sister, Robyn Coccia and her husband Sil, both of Bethlehem Township; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Robert 'Bobby" Lehr. Services will be held at 10:30am Friday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Call Thursday 4-6pm and Friday 9:30-10:30am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Riegelsville Union Cemetery. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
