About	David A. Reifsnyder, 68, of Easton, PA, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at home. Born Feb. 2, 1950, in Easton, he was a son of the late Jean (Ackerman) and John G. Reifsnyder. He was a 1968 graduate of Easton High School, where he was a varsity athlete in football and track. He received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Lafayette College in 1972, and was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He had a long and distinguished career as a microbiologist, and was the owner and president of Microbiological Environments. He was an avid fly fisherman who authored a book on that subject, which included colorful vignettes of his family and friends. David cherished his family and his many friends. He had a tremendous zest for life that was contagious. He enjoyed gardening, music, and dancing. He will truly be missed and remembered fondly by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Laura (Hendry) Reifsnyder; two daughters, Lauren Joujan (husband, Alex) and Jessica Serry (husband, Tamer) all of Easton; a brother, John T. Reifsnyder of Gilmanton, N.H.; a sister, Judith Reifsnyder of Rochester, N.Y., and three grandchildren, Chloe, Dawson, and Teagan. He was predeceased by a sister Suzanne Stitt. A memorial service to celebrate his wonderful life will be held Friday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m., at the family residence. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton, is handling arrangements.
