Air Force, 5 Years
Staff Sergeant /
Repair airborne radio-navigation equipment & airborne radar-navigation equipment. But it was the crawling around in the various aircraft that was the coolest. My favorite aircraft were bombers, tankers, and C-130's. During off-duty time we were able to practice bluegrass music on the guitar, banjo and fiddle. And that's important.

I spent time at Parris Island, SC and then was transferred to Washington, D.C. I spent 3 years on active duty and 1 year on reserve duty. I received an honorable discharge and left with the rank of sargeant (E-5).
