Born in Brussels, Belgium on August 25, 1965, Dina boasts a truly international educational background. She started her journey at Redwood High School in Larkspur, California, graduated with Honors as a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University, studied Chinese Language at Liaoning University, China, and eventually earned her Master's degree in journalism from Columbia University.

Throughout her career, Dina Temple-Raston has held significant positions such as the City Hall Bureau Chief for the New York Sun, a producer for CNNfn, and a White House correspondent for Bloomberg News. Notably, she was one of the earliest employees at Bloomberg, where she opened their Shanghai and Hong Kong offices.
