Matt Doyle is a notable alumnus of Redwood High School in Larkspur, California. Born Matthew Finnen Doyle on May 13, 1987, in Weston, Connecticut, he established himself as an acclaimed actor and singer in the U.S.

After graduating from Redwood High School, Doyle honed his acting skills at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. His breakthrough came in 2007 when he made his debut on Broadway in "Spring Awakening", replacing the original cast member in the role of Hanschen.

Doyle maintained a steady presence on Broadway over the years, taking supporting roles in productions like "Bye Bye Birdie" (2009) and "War Horse" (2011). In 2012, he stepped into Elder Price's shoes in "The Book of Mormon", replacing Nic Rouleau. His performance in the Broadway transfer of "Company" in 2021, a gender-swapped production, won him the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical.

Doyle's talents aren't limited to the stage — he's also a singer-songwriter with two EPs, "Daylight" (2011) and "Constant" (2012), and a full-length album, "Uncontrolled" (2016).
