| About | Brian Thomas Downey (69) U.S. Navy (January 17, 1951 -1 Dec 2014 Downey, Brian Thomas Age 63 of Omaha. Made his transition on Monday, December 1, 2014 at his home, with his wife by his side. Brian was born to Bick and Anna Mae (Trupp) Downey January 17, 1951 in Hastings, NE. Brian graduated from Papillion H.S. in 1969, after which he enlisted in the Navy and served active duty until 1973. He also served for 8 years as a navy reservist. Brian's memory will be kept alive by his surviving wife, Teri Rosario Downey; his daughters, Courtney (Nathan) Howe, Lauren (Joshua) Whetstone; his gransdons, Avery and Hunter Whetstone; and his sister, Karyn Stevens of Arizona; a nephew and 2 nieces.
