Events	Barb (Skilton) Fougeron 85 Fougeron, Barbara Jo I, Barbara Jo Fougeron, 46, passed away July 4, 2013 from lung cancer. I refuse to call it a valiant fight because it wasn't. I fought to have more time with my husband and soul mate, Jim Fougeron. I fought to have more time with my amazing son, David Dennis and wonderful daughter, Kristen Fougeron. I wanted to spend time with my beautiful daughter-in-law, Sara Dennis and the most perfect grandson, Oliver Dennis. I fought because my parents, Dave and Bunnie Skilton, shouldn't have to bury their child. I fought for my sisters, Michelle Niles and Elizabeth Skilton because it has always been the three of us. I fought because I didn't have a choice. Lung cancer does not discriminate. Anyone can get it. REMEMBRANCE/FAREWELL GET-TOGETHER at Aksarben Aquarium, south of Gretna, July 27, 11 am until nightfall.
