Alice Arteaga-Goetz
Class of 1962
(Passed date unknown)
Alice wnet to Roosevelt Grammar School in South Holland. She was, I believe, the first woman that we graduated with to pass away very early in her life. The story I have heard is that she had fallen in a store, was cut on her leg by glass., She was taken to the hospital to take care of this problem and it was there that the doctors noticed something else on her leg and it turned out to be some kind of cancer. She did not live too long after this diagnosis. I wish I knew more and knew how to reach her family. Alice was very well liked in school, friendly, and very attractive person inside and out.

She will be missed again at this reunion and we know that her family misses her as will her friends from Roosevelt and Thornridge.

Sincere Condolences to her family and friends,
Donna Rae Wood-Pearlman
Angela Bowen-boss
Angela Bowen-Boss
Class of 1992
Passed Sep 04, 2011
Dr. Angela Nichole Bowen-Boss, 36, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 4, 2011. Angela was a passionate advocate for children, as a pediatrician and child psychiatrist. She received her doctorate at the University of Cincinnati, and trained at the IU-Riley Pediatrics program, where she completed the triple-board residency for training in Pediatrics, and Adult and Child Psychiatry. Originally from the Chicago area, she met her husband during her training and stayed with him in Indianapolis to work at Wishard Hospital – she cared very much for her patients and their families there. Her other passion was those she loved, and she was fiercely loyal and loving with family and friends. Her strength, determined spirit and great infectious laugh will be deeply missed
She is survived by her loving husband, Eric; her mother, Landa Bowen; her father, Frank H. Bowen, Jr., his wife Deborah; her brother, Frank H. Bowen III, his wife Tamara, and her super nephews Frank IV and Tyler; her grandmother, Thelma Branson; and her devoted and always supportive aunts, Velda, Charlotte, Jacqueline, Faith, and an uncle, Claude. She was treasured by her in-laws, and the Boss family along with all of her extended family will miss her greatly. Her friends were "friends for life" no matter where they moved, or how their lives changed – she stayed close and always kept them in her thoughts. To know Angela was to love her, and she will be remembered in our hearts forever.

Brian was very active and successful in Chicago's music and nightlife industry, he was a proud parent, devoted son and great friend. You will be missed B!!!!!!
