Diana Lester Brown attended Thornridge High School in Dolton, IL.

Diana succumbed to gall bladder cancer. She was a great friend to so many of us and well-liked by all. Our condolences to her family. We will miss her smiling face at the reunion.
The following was sent to us by Diana's widower Phil and her sister Gayle Lester McKay:
Diana Lester Brown (1944-1996) was a pioneer of Early Childhood Education in the South Suburban area. Diana held two Master's Degrees. She taught in District 148 for many years. She also taught Early Childhood Education to teachers at Prairie State College and directed numerous area seminars in ECE. Diana developed the curriculum and then taught and certified well over 500 local day care providers. She is survived by her husband Phil and her sons Glenn and Steven.
