Marine Corps, 20+ Years
I spent seven years on active duty right after high school, traveling to several bases in California, the Carolinas, Japan and Okinawa. Then I married another Marine and had my first child; we decided to move to Michigan, where Jon is from, and joined the reserves. We served with combat engineers for the next thirteen years.

Peter served as an amunitions specialist with the Air Force in Operation Desert Storm. He was stationed in South Carolina and at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, MA. He was featured in an Air Force publication due to his outstanding service and was awarded several service medals for outstanding service and leadership.
