I am running for the Volusia County School Board Seat 2 and I am asking for your vote on December 18, 2012. Like you I am a product of the public school system here and I believe the School Board needs the voice of a concerned parent, a local, and a taxpayer to ensure my children and all the students of Volusia County get the best possible education our taxes pay for. If you no longer live in the area you might still have friends and relatives that live in Daytona , Daytona Beach Shores, Ponce Inlet, South Daytona and portions of Port Orange, and I ask you to contact them and ask them to Vote for Deborah Haigh Nader !!

Class of 1987 Seabreeze Snior High School 25th Reunion

SHS class of 71 Reunion
We had an absolutely wonderful time for our 20th anniversary of our 20th HS reunion this past July!!! Lots of people we hadn't seen in awhile attended and , many memories of people we unfortunately won't see again.
The Shores Resort and Spa in Daytona Beach Shores was a spectacular venue for both evening's events. A special thanks to the committee members and their spouses for a job well done.
Looking forward to our 45th as well as the cruise for our 10th anniversary of our 50th birthday!!!

l00th SHS Anniversary
In May 2008, my brother and I travelled from his home in Georgia back to DBF/OB and went to SHS athletic Dept. My brother (A. Steve Hatez '73) wanted to see the archive
trophies (naturally some bore his name!). I forgot about them! We were delighted that Coach (his coach
remembered him ) personally took us to the cases of trophies. We had a great time that day back at SHS. Thanks-Go Sandcrabs! Cheryl Hatez -'71.

100 Yr Centennial Celebration
To all SHS Faculty and Alumni,
This is our 100th year of Excellence and we are currently involved in the planning for our Alumni Family Celebration on April 26, 2008. We are looking to get the word out to all classes and faculty that may want to: contribute to our collection for the museum display, join the planning committee, participate in sponsorship or just want to find out more about this year's events. Contact Ruthie Labno (rlabno@volusia.k12.fl.us) for any questions or interests.
A quick note! Contact Dennis Scaccia (djscacci@volusia.k12.fl.us) if you are an alumni band member and would like to participate in our Nov. 9th Alumni Band performance at the Mainland Classic Football game at the DBMS.

We will try and post as often as possible on this (alumniclass.com) valuable site as well. But as you can imagine, we can post a more comprehensive update on the school's website.
