Navy, 4 Years
Boiler Technician, USS Puget Sound & USS Samuel Gompers both destroyer tenders. Specialized in ABC Shop (automatic boiler controls pneumatic/electronic back then) and in all aspects of boiler repairs and maintenance. Mediterranean Cruise to Spain, Italy & "we are from" France. Finished up in San Diego where the weather far exceeded the wonders of SLO town and the 'little big city" that was San Diego back then. Night life and mellow laid back everything. Surfing in Mexico when it was safer then than it is now, ahhh "the good o'le days" no doubt!!!

Our San Luis Obispo High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our San Luis Obispo High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
