My name is Mike, I lived in Oklahoma City for 35 years. I was a bartender at a popular local dance club as a young man. Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was all the rage. This was 1991. I was vacuuming the club before we opened and came across a class ring from 1989. Tried for years to find the owner. Left it in our lock box for probably 20 years. My wife left it sitting out for me to see again, so I picked up where I left off--another search. Called the school, found a wonderful woman in the office who loved the story, and helped me piece things together. I paid $20 to join Monahan's alumni website and came across her married name. Her facebook cover photo was her business card, with her phone number. Today is September 5, 2019. 28 years later, I spoke with the owner, and will be sending her a long lost treasure. It was glorious.

1986 Monahans class ring, red stone with starburst. Swimmer on one side and Lobo on the other. Gold tone with antiquing. Inscription Gena J Swan inside ring. Last seen September 1986 in trailer house in Thortonville area of Monahans.
