Bobby Shawn Beer 23, died March 23, 2006 in rural Stevens county as a result of a vehicle accident on his way to work. He was born on Nov 29, 1982 to Billy & Norma Beer. He was a lifetime resident of Liberal and was a member of the Liberal High School class of 2001. He worked for CENTRILIFT as a filed service technician & was a bail bondsman & bond enforcement agent for Rogers Bail Bonds.

He was an Oklahoma Sooners football fan, an avid fisherman & participated in fishing tournaments. He also loved playing baseball, bull riding and & working pit crews for several local stock car racers.

He is survived by: his parents Billy & Norma Beer; one sister, Mandy Tanking and husband Todd; one nephew, Kaleb Tanking, that he adored; numerous aunts, uncles & cousins, including Shannon Beer who is also a graduate of LHS class of 2001.

Bobby will forever be missed. He is gone, but will never be forgotten and was taken from us far too early.

The patrol said the accident happened at 9:15 p.m. when a westbound car driven by Jeffrey Garcia, 22, of Larned, crossed the center line and hit a car driven by Jerome Dixon, 22, of Meade.

The crash killed both drivers and Charles Kinsinger, 20, of Liberal, who was a passenger in Dixon's car.

Ferrius Louis David Lamar Olson, 27, of Liberal passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Tulsa, OK.

He was born on March 3, 1993 to Norman Olson and Bridget (Livingston) Sowers at Liberal, KS.

Ferrius spent most of his childhood between Dodge City and Garden City, KS. He attended Liberal High School where he was a Redskin Singer, played in "That" Liberal Band, was active in the Drama Club, and played Football. He transferred to Satanta High School for his Senior year where he continued playing in the band and baseball. He graduated in the SHS class of 2011. Ferrius was an avid musician; he wrote and performed his own music under the stage names of "Nitro" and "El Chapo Chingon". He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Liberal, KS.

Ferrius is survived by his mother, Bridget Sowers of Liberal, KS, father, Norman Olson and wife Barb of Fayetteville, AR; three brothers, Roderick K Sowers, Jr. of Arkansas, Kester J Olson and Khicks Olson both of Fayetteville, AR; sister, Morgan O Pham of Liberal, KS; Stepsister, Jaecy Bradford of Overland Park, KS; four children, Natalia, Greyson, Ferrius, and King.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman Gomez, Rosalie Olson and George B. Livingston.

Viewing will be 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Friday, September 18, 2020, at Miller Mortuary in Liberal.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Saturday, September 19, 2020, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Liberal.

Burial will follow in the Liberal City Cemetery.

He was born June 21, 1982, to Gilford Jr. and Iverria (Mitchell) Livingston in Liberal.

He graduated from Liberal High School in 2001 and attended one semester of college at Hutchinson Community College.

He was a track coach for Liberal High School for one year.

Survivors include his parents; one brother, Quincy Alexander Livingston, Topeka; nine uncles, Kevin Livingston and wife, LaTasha, Tempe, Ariz., Alfred Mitchell, El Paso, Texas, John Livingston, Oklahoma City, Larry Mitchell, Russell, Sylvester Mitchell of Michigan, Rodney Livingston and wife, Heather, Tempe, Tobert Livingston and wife, Susan, Emporia, Aljalon Akinson and wife, Sheree, Kansas City, and Alexis Mitchell, Arlington, Texas; three aunts, Shirley Love and husband, Robert, Liberal, Dorothy Williams and husband, Walter, Liberal, and Lorean McAdoo and husband, Raymond, Birmingham, Ala.; one nephew, Jamal Alexander Livingston, Topeka; grandmothers, Pearly Mitchell, Liberal, and Ledal Westhpal, Wichita; and grandfather, Alfred Mitchell, Liberal.

He was preceded in death by grandfather, Gilford Livingston Sr.

Gwenolyn Sue Williamson ( August 20, 1951 - January 24, 2018 )

Gwenolyn Sue Williamson, 66, Burlington, died on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at the Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka.
Gwen was born on August 20, 1951, at Beaver, Oklahoma, to Paul and Deloris (Rogers) Burnham.

On August 7, 1987, she married Daniel Williamson, in Hartford.

Gwen grew up in Liberal and graduated from Liberal High School. She received a bachelor’s degree from Baker University. She worked several jobs but had worked at the Wolf Creek Nuclear Plant in Document Services, and then in Computer Programming. She was a member of the Burlington Christian Church.

Gwen was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Janice Boger and Joyce Ann Hibler, and a baby brother, Stevie Burnham.

Gwen is survived by her husband, Daniel Lee Williamson, of the home, a son, Jason Howard (Stephanie), Burlington, two daughters, Theresa McGee, and Keena Davis (Richard), Wichita, a brother, Roger Burnham (Janet), Virginia Beach, VA, five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

She was raising two of her grandchildren, Rebecca and John Howard.

Services will be at the Burlington Christian Church, on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at 1:30 P.M. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, 6:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Contributions can be made to the David Traylor Zoo, in Emporia, and may be sent in care of Jones Funeral Home, P.O. Box 277, Burlington, KS 66839.

Zach was driving to his wedding in Hugoton, KS on 06/02/2006 in his 1968 Chevelle SS when he encountered a mechanical problem with his vehicle which resulted in a crash. Zach was a Firefighter/EMT with the Liberal Fire Department at the time of the incident.
