.Paul began his career at the high school as a history teacher in 1950. Five years later he became the head football coach, leading the team to 3 championships. During this time he also taught Driver's Ed. In 1958 Paul became the athletic director. A position he held until his retirement 15 years later. Paul died of cardiac arrest at the age of 74. He'd been married for 48 years. Paul had 4 children and 8 grandkids.
