Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Department in Pensacola, Florida. I worked on aircraft communication and navigation equipment at Sherman Field. This included equipment from the Blue Angels Flight Demonstration aircraft. I had an additional assignment as a collateral duty inspector. In that capacity I inspected equipment, the shop members had repaired, by putting it through various operational tests to ensure it had been properly repaired and was ready for re-issue.

I was assigned to the USS Eisenhower nuclear aircraft carrier performing maintenance on the air wings' communication and navigation equipment. I had an additional assignment as a collateral duty inspector. In that capacity I inspected equipment, the shop members had repaired, by putting it through various operational tests to ensure it had been properly repaired and was ready for re-issue. On the USS Eisenhower I was also assigned to the position of the AIMD shop's night shift supervisor.
