Denise and my brother, Charles Ricketts were very close friends. Denise suffered a tragic loss quite a few years after graduation. Her son died.
Denise, Joe Fernandez and Alasdair McGowan spent a lot of time together.
When my brother Charles died, Joe spoke at his memorial service at Kalas Funeral Home.
My brother was his best man at his wedding to Mary Ann.
Joe was at the funeral for my brother John and Charles, and at the memorial service for my father, Edward K Ricketts. He has been a family friend for decades and I still call him and his wife.
Joe is an outstanding husband, father, friend and a devoted son to his mother who is now living with his sister in Colorado!
