Entered the U.S. Army 1970 as a Private, and served in Vietnam. Retired as a Colonel from the Army Reserve in 2008, with over 28 years combined service in the Army, Army National Guard, and Army Reserve. A Helicopter Pilot, he flew Lift, Scout and Cobra Attack Helicopters.
