Joined US Navy in March of 1993, and served until March of 2013. Completed 5 Persian Gulf Deployments. Tours in Yokosuka, Japan 93-99, Groton, CT 99-04, Norfolk,VA 04-08 and 10-13, and Great Lakes, IL 08-10, Retired as Machinist's Mate First Class, and achieved Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist Designation, and Received Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal in 2004 and 2007.

Korea then got out. 13 year break in service. 2003 activated as a Chaplain. Served 2 combat tours with 2/504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division; 1 combat tour with the Special Troops Battalion (Airborne), 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team. Earned Master's Os Science in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University, Central TX. Functioned as the Family Life Chaplain for Franconian Military Community, United States Army Garrison Ansbach, Germany. Currently serving as the 17th Fires Brigade Chaplain, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.
