Phil was a friend from grammar school days (District 48) thru high school in Band ( a flute player).
We had a lot of fun in a very memorable English Literature class during our senior year with Frank Morgan.
My mother ran into him in the Chicago area while I was in Wisconsin working on a MBA. At that time he was just entertaining medical school. He attended Rush Medical School not too long after that chance meeting.
Phil was a free spirit, non-judgemental, and loved opportunities to have a good laugh.
He served the country as a Distinguished physician in the Air Force for many years as well as maintaining a private practice after returning from the field.
