Birthdate; 11/20/1952. David died prematurely from a prescribed antibiotic overdose while undergoing treatment in the New Jersey State Hospital system. With superb assistance from New Jersey State Senator and then Governor Richard Codey, his heart wrenching story featured on national television, initiated sweeping reforms in NJ state hospitals resulting in thousands of lives saved.
