Candis Brown Yeatts, 83, of Vinton, passed away, Monday, August 31, 2026 at her home.
She is survived by her son, Roger Darren Yeatts (Lisa); brother, Rev. Marc D. Brown (Beverly); sister, Cindie B. Hayden (Philip); four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Candis was preceded in death by her husband, Roger L. Yeatts; daughter, Michele L, Yeatts; parents, Henry Morton and Vivian (Brooks) Brown and brother, Stephen Brown.
She was born August 19, 1943 in Roanoke and was a graduate of William Byrd High School Class of 1961.
She was a loving and caring person who will be missed by those who knew her.
The family would like to thank Vic and Barb Pennington, Heather Garbis, Krisiti Meador, Catherine Ferrell, Sandra Woodford, Danny, Pat and Howard Milton, Ila Cox and Sherry Nunley along with the staff of Gentle Shepherd Hospice for all the care, love and kindness given to Candis during her sickness.
At this time there will not be a viewing or service.
