About	Peggy Ann Patsel Sowers, Roanoke, VA, suddenly passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Thomas Patsel, sister, Patsy Ann. Patsel, brother, Thomas L. Patsel, Jr, Her Beloved Love of her Life, Husband, Dance Partner Richard L. Sowers. Peggy was a member of Enon Baptist Church. She is retired as the Supervisor of the Criminal Division, General District Court for the City of Roanoke. Peggy was President of the former General Federation of Women's Club, Williamson Road Chapter, was a member Botetourt Square Dance Club, 300 Club, and so much more, too many to mention, loved every single person she met and NEVER met a stranger. Peggy is survived by her sister, Betty Patsel Sink, niece, Tammy Sink Young, great nephew, Taylor Young, and nephew, John David Patsel, Terry Lee Patsel, and great nephews Josh Patsel, Trevor Patsel, great great nephew Damon Patsel, brother-in-law, Bernie Sowers, and special friend "Sonny". A graveside service will be held and open to Friends and Family at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Glenn Giles officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Enon Baptist Church, Hope Bible Church or the Salvation Army.
