It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Theresa Clinebell Brown, 68, who was called to her Heavenly home on May 31, 2025, after a brief but valiant battle with Cancer. She was born in Roanoke, VA, on May 26, 1957. Theresa was a true friend to all who knew her, always wanting to make the lives of others better than her own.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Theresa had a creative spirit and loved making crafts to share with others, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Margie Clinebell, and brothers, Linwood and Junior Clinebell. She also lost one of the “little loves” of her life, her dog, Abby.
Theresa is survived by Dewey (Eddie), her loving husband of 48 years. She is also survived by her children, Angela (Puggie) and husband Mark DeWeese, Crystal and husband, Brad Campbell, and her son, Dewey III (Eddie).
Theresa also leaves behind brothers, Blair (Donna) Clinebell, Mike (Laura) Clinebell, and Jeffrey Clinebell, along with six grandchildren, her Aunt Evelyn, and numerous cousins, who loved her dearly. We can’t forget Zoey, her canine companion, who will be lost without her.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at Valley Funeral Home on Thursday, June 12th at 5:00 p.m. with visitation following from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Even though their time was brief, we would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice for their excellent care of Mom.
