Keith G. Weeks, 90, of Huddleston, Virginia passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024. He was the son of the late Lewis T. Weeks and Gertrude Elizabeth Harper Weeks.
He was born on October 6, 1933, in Vinton, Virginia. He attended school at William Byrd High School, then pursued his education in architecture at Roanoke College.
Keith was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, baptized in 1948. He talked to those in his community for many years expressing his hope for the future of living in a paradise earth where we will see him again soon. He also enjoyed hiking on the Appalachian Trail with his wife and exploring the mountains of Virginia and elsewhere. Both traveling often in his green VW camper and camping as well. He loved the outdoors.
He is survived by his loving wife Pauline “Crystal” R. Weeks, son, Matthew Weeks, daughter-in-law Sandy Weeks and many loving friends in the community.
In addition to his parents, He is preceded in death by his 5 brothers, Lloyd, Jim, Troy, Manuel, Lowell and stepsister Earline Saunier.
Tharp Funeral Home, Smith Mountain Lake, is assisting the family.
