HILL, James O., (Jimmy), 39, of Vinton, passed away Friday, July 6, 2001. Jimmy an employee of Varney Electric for four years enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He is survived by his parents, James and Patricia "Pat" Hill; a sister and brother-in-law, Vicky Hill Dickerson and James Dickerson; nephews, Jason and Brian Dickerson; a very special great-niece, Tatyana Marie Dickerson. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Alda Wallace; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Wade and husband Tom; a special family, David Wayne and Lauren Reynolds, and their children Aaliyah and Alexus; numerous very special friends; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his cherished pet, Nick. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2001 at Oakey's Vinton Chapel with Rev. Berkley Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
