Jerry L. Sayers, 61 of Roanoke went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Wednesday February 25, 2015,
He was a graduate of James Madison University and was employed at Redwood United Methodist Church as Music Minister.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Sayers, sons, Cory Sayers, Dean Sayers, sisters, Vi Hauenstein & husband, Bill, of Fairfax, VA., Barbara Ady and husband, Don, of Summit, NJ., niece & nephews, Scott, Wendy and Kim.
Memorial service will be at Salem Wesleyan Church, 4:00 P.M. Sunday, March 1, 2015. The Rev. Brad Dulaney and the Rev. Ken Dupin will officiate. The family will receive friends there at the church from 2-4 P.M Sunday before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Music Department at Redwood United Methodist Church.
