Received PHD in Engineering 1987. Resident Officer of Construction & Contracts NAS Guantanamo, Cuba 1987-1990. Retired as Builder Chief (E-7) 1990.

Drafted out of OCC in 1965. Served in Vietnam 1966-1967 with C Co. 52nd Infantry and B&D 2nd Bn 28th Infantry (Black Lions) in the 1st Infantry Division. Then again with Delta Co. 2/28th for another tour 1968-1969. Then my third tour with D Co. 4th of the 3rd (Old Guard) in the Americal Division from 1970-1971. Awarded three Purple Hearts in Vietnam. Retired in 1988 and worked as Dept. of the Army Civilian until 2010 when I retired completely. Lived in Germany for 25 years while working both as military and then as civilian. Met the love of my life in Oct 1989 in Ulm, Germany and we have been together ever since. Moved back to states (Virginia) in 2003. I go to as many Class Reunions as I can. I am grateful to God for every breath I take.

I joined the Army during my senior year and left for Basic Training right after graduation. I served as Enlisted for two years and then entered West Point and commissioned into the Corps of Engineers. I've deployed to Korea, Iraq and Afghanistan and have worked on or have overseen all sorts of construction projects. Still have a few years to serve then will retire.

Our Westminster High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Westminster High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
