Joe was a good friend of mine during our high school years. We went to Orville Wright and them WHSk and both of us lived in Playa Del Rey. We did a lot of beach time, going surfing, and in Junior Lifeguards at playa del Rey. He went on the become and LA county lifeguard. He was good guy and a strong athlete.

I remember that Joe got to drive his dad's MG....and he captured an owl and we built a cage in his yard. That owl would come and go from the cage, which was left open. Finally the owl left for months, only to return with a mate for a couple of weeks...then they both left.
