| About Me | I have lived in Alaska since 1976. After graduation from West Valley, I went to work at the State of Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities in January of 1981 and worked there until my retirement in May of 2011. After a brief 15 month hiatus, I started working part time for a planning organization called FMATS in January of 2013. I retired from FMATS in December of 2018. I resumed working part time for FMATS in June of 2019 after they transitioned to a non-profit organization called Fairbanks Area Surface Transportation Planning or FAST Planning. I have four kids. My youngest daughter, Destiny, is 20 and graduated from West Valley in 2018. She has been attending Eastern Washington University. My son, Logan Wicken, was a West Valley graduate in the Class of 2003 and graduated from UAF in 2008. I have two stepsons, RJ is 32 and Brent is 31.
