| About Me | Retired teacher and school administrator, live in Panhandle area of Florida; originally from Western Massachusetts. Grew up in Agawam, went to Phelps Elementary School, then Agawam Jr. High,West Spfld.HS Retired as teacher and school administrator. Grew up in Agawam, Mass. (Phelps Elem. School, old Agawam Jr. High School), lived at 42 Albert Street; family had a 'cottage' in the cove on the big island on Big Pond, East Otis, Mass., now that property said to be worth one million. Lost house, cottage during parents' divorce. Father abusive functioning alcoholic intent on divorce so could marry his girlfriend. Stripped kids of all security in his selfish quest. Moved to West Spfld. Mother struggled to support us, while father lived the high life in Ct. She used to have to go to court to get our measly support from the bum. He went on to remarry again, no kids to put threw hell, thank God; he married some ugly, fat 37 year-old who'd never so much as had a date, but her father owned about a zillion beach cottages in Milford, Ct. So old dad snatched that gal up in a hurry. She shortly inherited a lot of property and money when her father died. Anyways, went to West Spfld.
