Navy, 20+ Years
Joined the Navy shortly after graduating from high school and retired after 20 years service as a disabled vet.. Served aboard the USS O’Bannon (plank owner), USS Simon Lake, USS Donald B Beary, and the USS San Jacinto. Communication Radioman stationed at; Keflavik Iceland, NSGA Edzel Scotland, Master Communication Station Norfolk VA, NAVCOMSTA Norfolk VA. Completed 20 years at USSTRACOM Joint Command Omaha NE. Awarded Joint Service Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, Navy E Ribbon, Navy Good Conduct Medals, National Defense Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Navy Sea Service Deployment Ribons, Navy and Marine Overseas Service Ribbon, Surface Warfare Enlisted Badge, Redphone plaque. Graduated University of Phoenix, BSBM. Last years of service assigned as the COMMNCO at USSTRATCOM Joint Command in NE.
