Michelle Urquhart graduated from West Orange and went to the University of Florida, Gainesville from which she graduated with a Bachelor and Master degrees in Elementary Education. She then worked in several Florida cities teaching elementary and middle school. After that she began her studies in special education at the University of Central Florida, Orlando. She graduated with a second Master's degree in that field and then went on to complete her Ph.D. in Leadership, Special Eduacation track. She taught at the University of Central Florida, but returned to her true love which is teaching the younger population of students. Her greatest accomplishment, though, as she would tell, is her two daughters, Shauna and Kelsi-Ann.
