Ralph was killed in action in Viet Nam the very first year of his service. I remember him leaving school to join the service and saying goodbye to him in the A&P parking lot in 1965. Ralph was a fellow classmate and we should be proud of him and so sorry for the loss of such a good human being.

Served 3 years active duty followed by 3 years inactive reserve. My tour in RVN was as an infantry platoon commander with the 1st Bn, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division.
