WARREN EASTON HIGH 2015 HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY
The Warren Easton Hall of Fame Scholarship and Induction Ceremony was held Friday, May 15, 2015 in the school's auditorium.
Congratulations to all of the scholarship recipients and inductees.
WARREN EASTON HALL OF FAME 2014 SCHOLARSHIPS
The Warren Easton Hall of Fame Scholarship and Induction Ceremony was held Friday, May 16, 2014 in the school's auditorium. Twenty Warren Easton Seniors were awarded over $70,000 in scholarship monies for college. This year we were pleased to induct six new members into the Warren Easton Hall of Fame: Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews 2004, Ernest Verges 1948, Frank Mackel 1961, Dr. Juanita Muhaimin Daunoy 1994, Matthew Warren 1970, Glen Huth 1968. Congratulations to all of the scholarship recipients and inductees.
WARREN EASTON HIGH 2014 COMMENCEMENT
This years commencement ceremony was held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at the UNO Lakefront Arena. Dr. Calvin Mackie was the guest speaker. The valedictorian was Kyler Jett and the salutatorian was Jada Mack.

Congratulations to the four Warren Easton students who wrote winning essays and for being chosen to participate in the U. S. Naval Academy tour in October. Sponsored by the Bayou District Foundation, the students will be participating in a unique STEM enrichment opportunity which includes an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. and tour of the U.S. Naval Academy. Huth USAF (Ret); Architect, Ernest Verges; Financial Consultant, Matthew Warren; and Golf Pro, Frank Mackel.

Warren Easton Historical Project
ATTENTION ALL WARREN EASTON EAGLES!
I am Lee Sexton from the Warren Easton Class of 1970. I am assisting the Warren Easton High School Charter Foundation with two major historical projects.
First, we are in the process of scanning and saving all past Warren Easton year books to electronic format. This will ensure valuable history is not lost.
We currently have yearbooks all the way back to 1927. However, WE ARE MISSING THE WARREN EASTON YEAR BOOKS FROM THE CLASS OF 1956 AND 1966.
If any fellow “EAGLE” has a year book they would loan us from 1954 and 1966, it would be greatly appreciated.
The scanning process IS NOT DESTRUCTION. I REPEAT; IT IS NOT DESTRUCTIVE. It is a photograph process in which pictures are taken of each page.
Your year book will be returned to you with a CD – AT NO COST – of your year book in digital format.
Second, as you might know from my profile, I am a 29 year veteran of the United States Air Force and a veteran of the first Persian Gulf War. I am attempting to compile a list of Warren Easton “EAGLES” who were killed, missing in action or prisoners of war. ALL WARS!
If you know of any fellow “EAGLES” who fall in any of the above categories, please contact me. If you have any leads or know of anyone I can contact, please contact me through this site’s e-mail or instant messaging.
The purpose of this second effort is to develop a perpetual memorial of all the names of fallen military, “EAGLES,” and place it in a prominent place at our school.

In honor of our centennial anniversary Warren Easton Charter High School will be hosting a Jazz Legends Concert honoring jazz great and Easton alumnus Pete Fountain on September 5, 2013 at 8:00pm.
Featured performers include world renowned musicians and Warren Easton alumni Nicholas Payton and Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews. All proceeds benefit Warren Easton's Music Programs as well as scholarships for instrumental music students.
