Richard Coffman, 128 W. Market St, died in a single car accident Sunday, August 14.
He is survived by his widow, Linda, and a 15 month old son, Brad. He was self-employed at Drackett Inc.
He was born September 30, 1950, in Springfield the son of John L. and Betty Armer Coffman who now reside at 222 E. Ward St. He was a member of St. Mary Church.
Other survivors include: four brothers, Thomas of Springfield, Steven of Portland, Ore., Michael of Braden, Fla., and John of Urbana; four sisters, Mrs. Najib (Michelle) Ejihabash, Ann, Amy, and Alice, all of Urbana; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Herb Armer of Urbana; and several cousins. He was preceded in death in 1974 by a brother, James.
Friends may call at the James Harvey Funeral Home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. A mass of Christian burial will be sung at 11 a.m., Wednesday at St. Mary Church with The Rev. Father Donald Shelander officiating. Burial will be in Oak Dale Cemetery.
