I served for 26 years as an aircraft mechanic and crew chief. My assignments were in France, England, Arizona, Vietnam, California, Nevada, England and Michigan. Some of the highlights of my career are working in the SR-71 program and being assigned to the Thunderbirds, the Air Force air demonstration team as a crew chief from 1968 to 1971.
