For this reunion we’re going to try something new in an effort to keep the cost down. In past reunions, nobody ate the catered food as everyone was busy mingling and catching up. So, everyone will be brining food for themselves; we’ll also do a sharing table for appetizers and/or desserts. Also, the reunion will be BYOB. Keep in mind, we cannot bring glass to the beach; bottles and cans, only. The most important thing is to keep it affordable in hopes that many will attend.

Hello UHS alumni! We are elated, excited, stoked, to announce that SOUTH FLORIDA is hosting an all-year reunion in the spring of 2017!!! Are you excited yet?
We are targeting the states of North and South Carolina, Georgia and of course Florida! We are not limiting our Alumni to these states, and anyone who wants to attend from other states are MORE than welcome!
FRIDAY and SATURDAY VENUES have already been taken care of, thanks to the hard work of our committee members! Before you ask, they are Margaret Mastrototaro Hubbard, Holly Holst O'Brien, Joanne Carbonare Bouchard, Tina Goldman Kleiner, Peter Loverso, and myself.
Friday night's venue is a hoppin' place known as REVOLUTIONS in West Palm Beach! Here is their web site, so you can check it out for yourself. There's plenty to do in this sprawling building, as you can see from their web site. We can do our own thing there, or hang out in the bar area and have a great "meet and greet". Food is quite affordable, and bar food is available. Check the web site for menus, as everything you want to know is on the link below. This event is on 3/24/2017.

On Saturday, we will be having our reunion at DREHER PARK SOUTH, in West Palm Beach! Here is the link to the park, and it's RAIN OR SHINE, so no worries about cancellations. Our reunion will be from 8:30a.m. until SUNSET!!! It will also be CATERED, so all you have to bring is your BEER (in cans, no bottles allowed on the park premises) and your alcohol in plastic.The caterer is provided TEA, LEMONADE and SOFT DRINKS. If you desire anything other than these choices for chasers, please bring it with you, but not in bottles! The caterer will also provide all of our tableware, condiments, tablecloths AND servers (should we choose to have them). It's time to relax and enjoy ourselves, UHS FAMILY!!! Below is the link for our park venue. It's a great park, with lots to do if you get tired of talking! I doubt that will happen, as experience from our Lido reunion as taught me. We do have a list of hotels in the area and the GREAT news is, that everything is within FOUR miles of each venue! Even the airport is within that radius, so an uber or cab ride will not be expensive. We will give you a list of hotels as well. You are not limited in the use of these hotels. Please feel free to search on your own, being mindful to stay close to CITY PLACE or the airport. (West Palm Beach)
Notice that the Dreher Park Zoo and Science Center is directly across the street from the park, for those who might want to go on Sunday. There seems to be a lot happening around CITY PLACE, so no one will be bored!
The cost per person FOR OUR PARK EVENT is $40.00 per person. This will cover the cost of the permits for the pavilion at the park, and the caterer (including the tips for the servers).
