I enlisted in the US Navy just before graduation and left for Boot Camp in September of that year. A somber day for me as a good friend and fellow Badger, class of 1966, was buried that day; Viet Nam causality.
Duty station at school commands, Ammo Ship, Survival training, Viet Nam, Naval Hospital, Security Command, Security for Sea Bee's, Submarine Command Guam USA, Dry Dock, Naval Under Sea Center, Ship board Commands, Cargo Handling Unit and retired from USNR 1994.
