Alejandro Flores
Class of 1967
Discharged from Active Navy duty in 1975 and employed by US Department of Justice. Served with US Border Patrol (AZ) where I was part of a three man team that received the US Attorney General's Award for most arrest and prosecution by federal agency beating out the FBI. 1979, in Tennessee received into Federal Executive Association as Department Head for Dept. of Justice. 1987, Received excellence in achievement award (NE) for adjudication processes and for Amnesty program. 1995, excellence in achievement awards (AZ). March 2003 transferred to Department of Homeland Security. August 2003 transferred to HQ Washington DC to create new program. Received more than one achievement award for excellence in creating and running new program. Team lead in Student Exchange Visitor Program's Analysis and Operation Center. Ran Operation side of program. Retired from Student Exchange Visitor Program on August 1, 2013 after 46 years of government service.
