Donnie Hathaway

Army, 9 Years
SFC Donnie Hathaway graduated Trumann High School in 1996. He joined the US Army in 1999, and is currently stationed at Fort Gordon, GA. SFC Hathaway will move at the end of the year to Baumholder, Germany. During his time in the military he has been stationed at Fort Lewis, WA Camp Red Cloud, Korea and Fort Gordon, GA. He has also served one tour in Iraq and was part of the relief effort after the devestation of Hurricane Katrina and Rita. His jobs have included; Mechanic, Satellite Communications Platoon Sergeant, Tactical Satelitte Network Liason, and Drill Sergeant.

SFC Donnie Hathaway graduated Trumann High School in 1996. He joined the US Army in 1999, and is currently stationed at Fort Gordon, GA. I have been in the Guard and Reserve since 1983. In the 1980 decade I travelled Germany with the Army Reserve. Recently, I served in Operation Iraqi Freedom 2006-2008. I was stationed in Baghdad with the 875th Engineering Battalion. We found and exploded some 1200 IEDs! I would like to honor those who supported us while in Iraq--you were great!

Our Trumann High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done!
