Favorite School Memory	As a "country kid" from Madison Township (New Lancanster School), I enjoyed the feeling of acceptance when we consolidated and the rest of us came to town for school. I was in the eighth grade, Section 8-3 at the old Tipton Jr. High. I was shy, but found it exciting to have several teachers (one for each subject) and the opportunity to make so many new friends. The next year, THS provided so many options and our teachers, counselors and administrators took time to get to know us individually and encourage us to find our way in the world and to make every effort to be best we could be. My favorite teachers were Mrs. McIntosh, Mrs. Lett (Holmes), Mrs. Ross, Mr. Pearce, Mrs. Demaree, Mr. Moses, and Mr. Shoup.
