He was born in Council Bluffs and worked as a restaurant cook.
Survivors include one sister, Deb Evans of Omaha; two brothers, John I. and George S. of Omaha; stepmother, Helen Cohoe of Council Bluffs; one stepsister, Jean Goetsche, of Council Bluffs; one stepbrother, Frank Carlin, of Council Bluffs.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. Heafey-Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak & Cutler, West Center Chapel in Omaha, with Rev. Cap Benthin, pastor of the Revival Tabernacle Church, officiating.
Memorials may be offered to the Revival Tabernacle Church.
