Responsible for ensuring the protection of life and property from a missile during its operational and/or test flight from the USAF Eastern Test Range to impact or orbital insertion. Included were NASA Gemini, Apollo and Space Shuttle test and manned program flights and Military Trident, Poseidon, Polaris, Minuteman Man, Titan, Pershing missiles and unmanned Atlas , Delta and Titan space satellite and deep space probe missions.
