Meldrick Taylor

Class of 1984

Meldrick Taylor was more than a high school friend; he was a 1984 Olympic Lightweight Boxing Champion representing the United States and a role model for many young black men in the Philadelphia area. Meldrick later become a world champion in two weight classes before retiring in 2002.
