Army, 20+ Years
Commissioned 2LT, RA, in the Infantry. Spent 16 months in Vietnam as a rifle platoon leader, company XO and aide-de-camp. Served on active duty as an Airborne Company Commander, Flight Platoon Leader and Battalion Staff Officer on active duty. In the reserves other assignments include Company Commander, Battalion Commander and Director of Leadership Academy. Qualifications include Senior Parachutist, Ranger and Army Aviator (helicopters). Retired at the rank of Colonel after 27-1/2 years.

I joined the Navy after graduation and after 4 years got out and became a Marine for another 16 years. So, I got to go to boot camp twice. Once with each service. I had the opportunity to travel the world and work with some great people and do many interesting things. It was a fantastic experience!

Hood, TX, Camp Page and Camp Stanley Korea, Alexandria, VA, Ft; Lewis, WA, Baumholder, Giessen and Wiesbaden GE. I also served with the 1st Armored Division in Iraq during 2003.

The majority of my career was spent 'steaming, repairing, or inspecting' the ships of our Navy; which included four tours of duty in the Puget Sound area.
