Sharon Ann Mathews
Class of 1967
(Passed date unknown)
Sharon Mathews was killed in a tragic car accident as she was returning home from SHS to the Amerada Switch after school. Sharon had suffered from heart trouble from infancy, and it was unknown if the car she was driving, her older sister's Volkswagen Bug, was blown by wind into the wrong lane or if she suffered a heart attack and lost control of the car which caused the freak accident. Sharon was thrown from the car. Personally, Sharon was one of my dearest friends and had written on her senior photo: "Well, we've made it this far, I guess we'll make it until May!" Rest in peace, Sharon. We have missed you! We look forward to seeing you again.

Willie Mae Rose
Class of 1971
Passed Jan 28, 2014
My dear sweet sister, lived life not expecting much but always being pleasantly surprised when someone chose to do something nice for her. After being treated for several months for an Ulcer and her health not improving she again was admitted to the hospital, only this time she wasn't to return home to her beloved Princess or to those who loved her. She passed away quietly after exploratory surgery showed there was nothing the surgeon could do to save her. The surgeon sutured the incision back and made her comfortable as possible. The hardest thing in this world to do, is say goodbye to the last living person who knew all your secrets and all your laughter. I will always love you my sweet sister.
